Join us for our next Working Bee.

Time: 2.00pm – 4.00pm (Note the earlier start time during cooler months)
Location. meet near the south-west corner of Nicklin Way Bridge at 676 Nicklin Way (near Premier Funerals)

We are working along the pathway beside Currimundi Creek. Parking is available on Nicklin Way

We are working along the pathway beside Currimundi Creek.  We have worked in this area several times before. We aim to move west along the pathway as far as we can.

Target. Corkys passion vine, panic grass and some painted spurge.

And you never know, we might spot a mistletoe bird, or see the swallows making their nests. We have seen both of those previously at this location.

The Working Bees
Bushcare will provide tools, bags, gloves if you don’t have your own and insect repllent. Water bottle, gloves if you have them. Long sleeves, trousers, sturdy footwear and a hat recommended.

The working bees are operated under the Sunshine Coast Council Bushcare volunteer conservation program. Before participating for the first time you will be required to register as a Bushcare volunteer and complete a safety induction (both simple processes).
