Working bee Saturday 8 March 2025

Location: Meet near 8 Fernleaf Court Currimundi.

Join us for our next monthly Bushcare working bee for the year.

Target: Another new patch of Inch Weed has been found. Will be great to get on top of it before it can spread too far. Then it is the usual suspects of corky and desmodium. If we have enough time we aim to get the glycine off the opposite bridge corner. Some may remember when it smothered that area, but is now just trying to re-establish. We won’t let it.

RSVP: Daniel our Council Bushcare coordinator daniel.jonas@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au

The Working Bees

Bring: Water bottle, gloves if you have them. Long sleeves, trousers, sturdy footwear and a hat recommended. Gloves and tools are provided.

The working bees are operated under the Sunshine Coast Council Bushcare volunteer conservation program. Before participating for the first time you will be required to register and complete a safety induction (both simple processes).
