Image of invasive plant Corky's Passion Vine

Working bee Saturday 11 October 2025

Location: Meet near 30 Sycamore Drive, Currimundi, then follow the pathway behind the houses towards the hospital. It is some way along the path – keep going…..

Target: This is a new area for us, only recently returned to Council. It will be quite exciting to explore this area properly. Along the pathway there is a nasty patch of smothering vines – corky and siratro, and painted spurge.

Bring: Water bottle, gloves if you have them, and wear protective clothing

Lost on the Day: Phone 0402600280

RSVP: RSVP: Please RSVP to Dan from Council so he can cater for the event appropriately and advise any possible late changes. daniel.jonas@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au
