Working bee Saturday 13 September 2025

Please note the change of start and finish times, During the warmer months we start at 2.30pm and finish at 4.30pm.

Location. Meet on the Currimundi Lake pathway beside Premier Funerals 676 Nicklin Way. Easiest to park on Nicklin Way. 

Target: Our targets will be corky, mile a minute and panic grass. We have worked in this area many times, and you can really see the difference. We will work westward and hopefully get right through to Lakeside Crescent – which means completing 2 areas in one go.

The Working Bees

Bring: Water bottle, gloves if you have them. Long sleeves, trousers, sturdy footwear and a hat recommended. Gloves and tools are provided.

The working bees are operated under the Sunshine Coast Council Bushcare volunteer conservation program. Before participating for the first time you will be required to register as a Bushcare volunteer and complete a safety induction (both simple processes).
