Join us for our next working bee this Saturday.

Note the new start and finish times. In winter we start at 2pm and finish at 4pm – half an hour earlier than the warmer months.

Target: We will work in both directions targeting Corky’s Passion Vine, Inchweed and desmodium. This little area of bushland beside Currimundi Creek south arm is quite pristine but invasive weeds along the pathway threaten to invade the area (not if we can help it!).

RSVP: Daniel our Council Bushcare coordinator daniel.jonas@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au

The Working Bees

Bring: Water bottle, gloves if you have them. Long sleeves, trousers, sturdy footwear and a hat recommended. Gloves and tools are provided.

The working bees are operated under the Sunshine Coast Council Bushcare volunteer conservation program. Before participating for the first time you will be required to register as a Bushcare volunteer and complete a safety induction (both simple processes).
