Working bee Saturday 11 July 2026

Join us for our next Working Bee.

Date: Saturday 11 Juky2026
Time: 2.00pm – 4.00pm (Note the earlier start time during cooler months)
Location.Sycamore Drive pathway, Currimundi (meet near 30 Sycamore Drive).

We are working along the pathway behind the houses. Keep following the pathway until you find the green shirted group. We have worked here before. This is part of the new areas now under Council management. It is fabulous seeing these new spots, and helping to return them to pristine spaces.

Georgia will provide afternoon tea for the volunteers when we finish, so stick around for a social catch up and debrief. – thanks Georgia

The Working Bees
Bushcare will provide tools, bags, gloves if you don’t have your own and insect repllent. Water bottle, gloves if you have them. Long sleeves, trousers, sturdy footwear and a hat recommended.

The working bees are operated under the Sunshine Coast Council Bushcare volunteer conservation program. Before participating for the first time you will be required to register as a Bushcare volunteer and complete a safety induction (both simple processes).
