Working bee Saturday 8 February 2025

Location: Noel Burns Park, Wurtulla
Meet opposite 7 Dewrang Place, cnr Mulloka Esp and Dewrang Place..

Join us for our first working bee for the year.

Target: Sadly Gloriosa Lily, an extremely invasive and hard to eradicate weed has gained a foothold here. It will be good to get on to it early. We will also target Singapore Daisy, Corky’s Passion Vine and the other usual culprits.

The Working Bees

Bring: Water bottle, gloves if you have them. Long sleeves, trousers, sturdy footwear and a hat recommended. Gloves and tools are provided.

The working bees are operated under the Sunshine Coast Council Bushcare volunteer conservation program. Before participating for the first time you will be required to register and complete a safety induction (both simple processes).
