Working bee Saturday 8 November 2025

Date: Saturday 8th November
Time: 2.30pm – 4.30pm
Location. Crummunda Park. Meet near the main playground opposite 39 Coongarra Esp, Wurtulla. 

Join us after final Working Bee for 2025.

Target. Around the playground the focus will be corky vine; then we can work towards Nicklin Way looking for corky, fish bone fern, and making sure the dreaded cat’s claw is not trying to reclaim the area; and if we have enough time / people would be great to have a few pushbikers head to the beach end near the rotunda where there is a mile a minute infestation.  

Bring: Water bottle, gloves if you have them, and wear protective clothing

The Working Bees

Bring: Water bottle, gloves if you have them. Long sleeves, trousers, sturdy footwear and a hat recommended. Gloves and tools are provided.

The working bees are operated under the Sunshine Coast Council Bushcare volunteer conservation program. Before participating for the first time you will be required to register as a Bushcare volunteer and complete a safety induction (both simple processes).
